1. Brief Introduction

The RA-L-20SW machine is a continuous & intermittent welding carriage travelling in vertical position. It is particularly suitable for narrow working conditions, with a thin machine body. It is developed for construction at positions where normal automated welding equipment cannot work, such as the edge of manholes.

The welding tractor can be mounted in the vertical position as long as the height of vertical plate ≥ 90mm. It can travels on the vertical plate and weld the tee joints steadily when the width of free edge ≥15mm, no need to add backing plates as in tradition fillet welding in flat position. It can perfectly avoid obstacles in flat position. The thin machine body allows it travelling through in narrow space wider than 220mm.
